The first trip with our kitty that we found Thursday night under our deck,

before we left on our trip Friday to Granite Hill Campground in Gettysburg .

This was also the weekend when 2 fellow dancers got together....

they just celebrated 4th wedding anniversary.

Congratulations to Russ & Kathy ( I bet Kathy will never forget the trip up to Gettysburg

and we will never forget the coffee ... !@#$$% at 6:00 am !!!!!!! ) just kidding !!!

We also have to congratulate Mark and Nancy they will be celebrating their 3rd anniversary also,

what a good old St Patrick's Party can do for some people Congratulations

We met Darlene and Earl at Granite Hill many years ago, it is always a pleasure to see them.

Bell Wagoneers Newsletter that explains it quite well ...

July’s campout was at Hickory Run campground in Denver, PA. on 7/22-24. Skip and Linda hosted this campout and had delicious meat ball sandwiches for everyone on Friday night. We had the pleasure of Ed DiPietro’s granddaughter Taylor with us again. We also had Roger and Ruth Riso who may be joining our Club. Hope to see them again.

Well, we had food, we had fun and we had excitement at this campout. The food was provided by the Hendrick’s and others on Friday night. We also had a wet down for Betty Harris and George Graves’s nice new motorhome on Saturday afternoon, followed by ice cream sodas at the O’Brien’s (only because Taylor wanted oneJ). Thanks to all those who bought the salads, chips, desserts, etc. to add to the bounty of food. And good luck to Betty and George on their new rig. Did I mention we had excitement also? Well, it seems Lars was backing out of his site on Saturday evening to go set up his music system. To his surprise, someone planted a power transformer on the site directly behind him. As he slowly backed into it, he thought his rear wheel was in a pot hole, so he gave it more gas, as any good ole boy from PA would do. That’s when the sparks flew, the smoke came out and the lights went off. Yep, he knocked the power out to the whole section of the campground we were in. The incident was reported to the office, the power company crew showed up around midnight and worked through the night to restore the power. In the mean time the show went on, Lars and Lori played to a good audience and did a great job. Here is a panoramic view of our campsites during the power outage:

Lars lost this award July 23,2010 when the originator of the award

damaged his new RV when coming onto Appalachian campground.
